1. Who we are

These terms apply to all purchases on bruteparis.com. The seller is S.C. LA BASTION SRL, trading as BRUTE, registered at str. Grivitei nr. 36, Oradea, jud. Bihor, Romania. VAT RO25641914, trade register J05/813/2009. Contact: studio@bruteparis.com.

By placing an order you confirm that you are 18 or older and accept these terms. The version in effect when you place your order is the one that applies to it. We may update these terms at any time, and changes do not affect orders already placed.

2. Products and care

BRUTE pieces are cast and finished by hand in 925 sterling silver, some gold plated and with stones. Because of the casting and finishing process, each piece can vary slightly in texture, surface and stone cut. This is part of the design and is not a defect. Photos are as accurate as possible, but screens vary.

Silver tarnishes naturally, and gilded and matte finishes can wear with use. Keep pieces dry, away from perfume and chemicals, and store them in the pouch provided.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We accept cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay. We never see or store your card details. Your order is confirmed once payment goes through and you receive a confirmation email.

4. Production time

Pieces are made to order. The estimated production time is shown on each product page, currently 3 to 5 weeks. This is an estimate, not a guarantee. If there is a delay, we will email you.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have 14 days from receiving your order to tell us you want to withdraw. Email [email] with your order number. You then have 14 days from that notice to send the piece back.

Returns are at your own cost. We recommend a tracked and insured service, as you are responsible for the piece until it reaches us.

Pieces must be unworn, undamaged and in their original packaging. You may try a piece on to check fit and look, but wearing it beyond that is not covered. If a returned piece shows wear or damage, we may deduct the loss in value from your refund.

We refund the purchase price and the standard shipping cost we charged, to your original payment method, within 14 days of receiving the piece and checking it. We may hold the refund until it arrives.

Personalised pieces (custom engraving, sizes outside our standard range, or pieces made with materials you selected) are made to your specifications and cannot be returned or withdrawn. This is shown on the product page and confirmed at checkout.

6.Sizing

Ring sizes are listed on each product page. Please measure carefully before ordering.

If you need a size outside our standard range, tell us when you place your order, by email or in the order notes. Non-standard sizes are made at no extra cost. Because they are made to your measurements, they are personalised pieces and are not eligible for withdrawal (see section 6). If a piece is made in a size different from the one you ordered, we remake it at our cost.

If a ring doesn't fit after delivery, we can resize it where the design allows. Resizing is quoted case by case, depending on the piece and the size change, and the cost is confirmed with you in writing before any work starts. Shipping to and from our workshop is added to the quote. Some pieces, such as those with set stones or gilded surfaces, may not be resizable. In that case we will tell you.

Resizing does not affect your right of withdrawal for standard size pieces under section 6.

7. Defects and legal guarantee

All products are covered by the statutory 2 year legal guarantee of conformity under EU law. If your piece arrives damaged or not as described, email us with photos and we will repair, replace or refund it at our cost. The guarantee does not cover normal wear, scratches, damage from misuse, or alterations by third parties.

8. Intellectual property

All designs, photos, text and logos on this site belong to BRUTE and may not be copied or used without written permission.

9. Liability

We are not liable for indirect losses, or for delays caused by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence. Please contact us first at studio@bruteparis.com and we will try to solve any issue. You can also contact Romania's consumer protection authority (ANPC) or your local consumer authority.
