Brute is a contemporary fine jewellery brand, designed in Paris and cast in Bucharest, Romania. Defined through chunky, raw, and draped forms, all our pieces are handmade in 925 sterling silver, often mixed with 24k gold vermeil, because why not have it all?

Behind the brand stands Paula Popa, a Transylvanian-born designer working across print and womenswear design, whose work spans Milan, Florence, and Paris. Fabrics and draping continue to play a major role in her practice, now becoming sculpture through metal.

Brute is about embracing the raw and the refined, the structured and the undone. Jewellery for those who like a little bit of both.
